Singing bowls
Singing bowls, also known as Tibetan singing bowls, have been used for centuries for meditation, healing and relaxation. These ancient instruments are often combined with Reiki, a form of energetic healing, to promote a deeper state of relaxation and healing.

How Singing Bowls Work
Singing bowls work on the basis of resonance and vibration. When the rim of the bowl is touched with a wooden stick or tapped with a mallet, the bowl produces a clear, harmonious tone. These sounds are not only audible, but also felt throughout the body.
Safety advice
Singing bowls and Reiki are valuable tools for personal growth and spiritual development.
1. In people with (serious) mental illnesses, sound bowl therapy can trigger emotional responses that are too intense, which can lead to emotional imbalance, especially in conditions such as acute psychosis or severe depression.
2. People with epilepsy: Caution is advised for people with epilepsy, as some individuals may be sensitive to certain sound frequencies. Although there is no direct evidence that singing bowls can trigger seizures, it is important to be alert.
3. Although singing bowl therapy is generally considered safe, pregnant women should always exercise caution and seek advice from a doctor or midwife before treatment.
